JONAXX: The PopFiction Queen

 Who is Jonaxx?

Jonah Mae Panen Pacala also know as her pseudonym Jonaxx, is a Filipino author, born on 23rd of January 1991 and hailing from Cagayan de Oro, Philippines. 

She began contributing to Candymag.com's Creative Corner in 2013, when she was just 12 years old. Since then she has drawn a large following of readers who eagerly await the posting of each chapter of her stories. Despite having a flair for writing, Jonaxx chose to study Early Childhood Education at Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan. While writing is her pastime, she claimed she also enjoys working with children, "kasi mahilig ako sa mga bata," she said. "Mga kinder-aged na bata. Kaya gusto ko rin magturo". That's why she chose to teach kindergarten. 

Wattpad Queen and Her JSL

She is currently the most followed Wattpad author worldwide with over 500 million followers and is widely known as "The Wattpad Queen" and "PopFiction Queen." Jonaxx is the all-time best-selling authors in the Philippines. In 2017,  she has published around 150,000 copies of her books and was featured in Yes! magazine. Her best works include Pop Fiction Mapapansin Kaya?, Every Beast Needs a Beauty, and The Baka Sakali Trilogy— some of which made it to National Book Store's local fiction best seller list.

Also, her numerous fans, who reference to her as Wattpad's "Queen J," went by the abbreviation JSL which stands for Jonaxx Stories Lovers.
